Harvesting memories since 1997
Minutes east of Green Bay and a short distance from Door County. We grow about 30 different varieties of apples, pears, pumpkins & squash. When you come to pick, you may walk or drive your car into the orchard with your family. Bring a picnic and enjoy the farmland and our beautiful orchard. Do something fun on your day at the orchard! On weekends in September and October, you may enjoy a free wagon ride to and from the orchard and pumpkin patch. This is what family memories are made of! This is what your children will remember when they grow up! Harvesting Memories Since 1997.

hillside apples 25 years and counting!
Our History
The story of Hillside apples begins in the mid-1960s. Not as Hillside Apples but Erickson’s
Äple Hus owned by Dee Erickson. While apples were being grown on the 35 acres, the Cooler and store were not built until late 1969. The most popular apples at the time were Yellow and Red Delicious. Since 1969, the orchard has changed hands 3 times.
The orchard today
Fast forward to 1997 when the apple orchard is now changed to its current name, Hillside Apples. The orchard was purchased from the Kornelly’s by Bill Roethle. The orchard today is still producing apples and pumpkins on that same 35 acres with additional land elsewhere for growing more produce.
to the future!
Around 2018 Bill’s son Brad became an official business partner at the orchard. As of today, Bill and Brad co-run the orchard.
